What was the name of this project and why?
We named this project The Tanner since the condo unit was located at Tanner Place.
In what neighborhood was this Tanner Place Condo located?
This staging project was located in the Pearl District right next to beautiful Jamision Square.
What was the demographic of the target buyer?
The demographic for this unit could be a professional person or couple, or possibly a retired person looking to downsize.
Who was the client?
Sasha Welford of Debbie Thomas Real Estate recommended our staging service to her clients. We have worked with Sasha for several years and always enjoying working with her and her clients.
What challenges did you overcome?
Strangely enough, we staged this same Tanner Place condo unit a few years ago, and the challenge both times was to arrange the placement of the living area in such a way that the view was highlighted. The city view is so spectacular in this unit, but the only way to make sense of the living space was to face the sofa towards the fireplace. Typically we don’t like facing the sofa to the back, but we placed the sofa and chairs in such a way that the buyer could envision themselves either watching tv or sitting near the fire in one of the chairs and looking at the view.
What features did you focus on showcasing?
In this Tanner Place Condo, we felt that lifestyle was a key factor. We staged the unit with furnishings and artwork to complement the finishes of the unit as well as to blend with the scenery outside. The clean lines in our furnishings reflected the contemporary lifestyle of the targeted buyer and kept the accessories to a minimum but at the same time impactful. Both times we staged this unit, it sold quickly. We are always happy when our staging leads to success for all involved! If you or your client has a condo to stage, let us know. We’d be happy to consult!
