The Strand offers many community activities and is just walking distance to the waterfront, local restaurants, as well as the Tram to OHSU.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4104 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-1.jpg\" alt=\"Staging a condo on Portland's Waterfront\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-1-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What is the demographic of the target buyer?<\/h3>\n<p>The targeted buyer for this unit would be a retired person looking to downsize or a professional who wants to be close to OHSU, the beauty of the waterfront, or any of the many amenities this area offers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Who was the client?<\/h3>\n<p>We have worked with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yvonneblewett.com\/The-Strand-Condominiums\">Yvonne Blewett<\/a> on many staging projects at the Strand. Between our lifestyle staging and Yvonne\u2019s great marketing and negotiation skills, Yvonne has sold many units at the Strand with splendid success for her clients.<\/p>\n<p>She recommended us to her clients, who were considering leaving some of their own furnishings. After some discussion with the client, we realized they would have to move twice. To make things convenient for them, they settled on only leaving a beautiful banana leaf palm and some outdoor potted plants.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What challenges did you overcome?<\/h3>\n<p>The only challenge was to ensure that the views were visible from as many angles as possible and to stage with furnishings that would complement to views instead of competing for the potential buyer\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n<p>We placed the sofa and chairs to flank the windows on each side, which helped make the view feel even more expansive. Now, buyers could immediately appreciate the amazing scenery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4105 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-2.jpg\" alt=\"Staging the Strand Condo with low-profile pieces to enhance the view\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-2-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We staged the dining table with transparent glass vases to keep the outdoors as visible as possible. This small touch helped add light to the room as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4107 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-4.jpg\" alt=\"We brought in more light and better views by using transparent glass vases\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-4.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-4-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What features were you focused on showcasing?<\/h3>\n<p>We used furnishings and accessories that complemented the woodwork and other finishes already in the Strand condo, but also enhanced the outdoor views.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Staging with cream, low-profile sofa and chairs allowed the lush outdoors to be highly visible. The dark accessories and pillows added contrast and definition while also bringing into focus the buildings outside.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We placed a leather chaise in the built-in office so buyers could envision themselves finding a quiet corner to read.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4106 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-3.jpg\" alt=\"We staged the Strand with a chaise lounge to encourage the potential buyer to relax in the space\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-3.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.imaginestagers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Strand-3-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The staging of the Strand Condo turned out beautiful, and made the Portland views shine. <a href=\"https:\/\/tours.speedsphoto.com\/1832426?a=1\">You can see a video tour of the condo here<\/a>.\u00a0It&#8217;s no surprise that<strong>\u00a0with strategic lifestyle staging and Yvonne&#8217;s marketing skills, this unit went pending in just 3 days!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are always excited when our clients have such a successful outcome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What was the name of this project and why?
