This model home is one of several we’ve staged for Riverside Homes. This group dedicates themselves to developing new homes and neighborhoods that reflect the natural beauty of the environment while providing innovative design and craftsmanship. Riverside Homes has built neighborhoods in Beaverton, Portland, Sherwood, and Tigard, as well as this one in Forest Grove.
What neighborhood was this model home in?
Lee Meadows wraps twelve new single family homes into a cozy neighborhood in Forest Grove. This fantastic location is just off of Gales Creek Road and provides quick access to downtown Forest Grove and Baseline Road, so any commute is a breeze.
What was the demographic of the target buyer?
We envisioned the buyer as a young family who enjoys living in a small, friendly community. This 4 bedrooms home is full of natural light and includes an open floor plan and a fun loft upstairs for activities.
Who was the client?
Steve Nassar of Premiere Property Group recommended our staging services to the builder of Riverside Homes. We have worked with Steve for many years staging his vacant listings, which market beautifully and sell faster than non-staged homes.
What challenges did you overcome?
We have staged many of Riverside’s Model homes. Because of their uncomplicated floor plans, their homes have been fun to stage and without many challenges.
As with all our stagings, our primary focus is on the potential buyer. We always ask ourselves, “What do they need in a house and how does this specific home meet those needs uniquely?”
For this Riverside Home, we kept our furnishings contemporary yet relaxed. A light grey sectional in the living room showcased plenty of seating without overcrowding the space.
Since the potential buyer for this home would be a young family, we took the time to stage two of the bedrooms as kids’ rooms. Desks, fun art, and stuffies appeal and delight the younger family members.
We staged the dining area with a live-edge table and matching wood bench to add warmth and show how family friendly and functional the space can be.
What features did you strive to showcase?
The upstairs loft was staged with a small sofa and two chairs. Warm colors invite in the whole family and make it easy to envision everyone hanging out in the space with friends and family.
Throughout this model home, we added many furniture and accents that a young family would find appealing. By incorporating a warm color palette, everything felt welcoming and connected each living space with the next.
Steve Nassar is the mastermind behind the entire neighborhood, having introduced the original landowner to Riverside Homes. We’re glad Lee Meadows is now such a beautiful part of Forest Grove!
