What was the name of this project and why?
We called this project The Edge since the unit was located at the Edge Lofts.
What neighborhood was this home in?
The Edge condos are located in NW Portland, right in the Pearl District.
Demographic of the target buyer?
The possible demographic for this unit could be a young urban professional or individual looking to downsize. Any potential buyer would enjoy living in the Pearl District with easy walking distance to a myriad of local shops, galleries, and restaurants. Someone with a minimalist lifestyle would be ideal for this condominium.
Who was the client?
This client came through our long time Realtor partners Sasha Welford and Susan Suzuki of Debbie Thomas Real Estate. They recommended our staging service to their client. We always enjoy working with these ladies and were happy to provide staging for this beautiful property.
What challenges did you overcome?
It was important to define the use of space since the loft was one large room. We also wanted to arrange the furnishings so buyers would be drawn to the stunning view. We used a large dining table and then arranged the living room in a manner that would showcase the ways potential buyers could entertain and still enjoy the view from the chairs.
What features were you focused on showcasing?
Staging is important in open lofts in order to define the use of space and to add style and warmth. We were happy that the unit sold quickly, which is a testament to the value of staging!
