Featured Project: Benson Towers

What was the name of this home staging project and why?

We called this project Benson Towers, Unit 1102.

What neighborhood was Benson Towers in?

The Benson Towers condo is located in the Portland Cultural Arts district. It’s walking distance to the Portland Art Museum, the South park blocks, Portland State, and many restaurants and galleries.

Demographic of the target buyer?

As home stagers, we are always thinking about potential buyers, their lifestyle, and how they would live in the unit. We anticipated this Benson Towers buyer to be a single person or a married couple who wanted to live close to the Cultural Arts District. They would also love looking at the fantastic view of downtown Portland.

The Benson Towers condo owner we targeted would live a minimalist lifestyle and relate well to functional furnishings that complemented the view but also be comfortable for entertaining or relaxing.

Who was the client?

Kenneth Avery of Hasson Realty, one of our Realtor partners, referred us to the client to provide a staging proposal.

What challenges did you overcome?

One of our biggest challenges was to be sure to use the right size furniture in each room. We had to showcase the view as well as the possible function of the unit.

What features were you focused on showcasing?

To ensure the photographer could capture the breathtaking view of the city, we used a low profile sectional that fit the space perfectly and added style and color to the unit. Our choices on accessories and art reflected the lifestyle of the targeted buyer and had both a minimalist and contemporary look.

This Benson Towers condo sold very quickly with two cash offers. We always love providing our Realtor partners and their clients a quick and profitable sale with our staging services!
